John Attenello, MD. Select Orthopedic Specialists (Los Angeles). Dr. Attenello was one of the first spine surgeons on the West Coast to use augmented reality technology with 3D navigation in spine surgery. He joined Select Orthopedic Specialists in 2021.

Alexander Ghanayem, MD. Loyola Medical Group (Maywood, Ill.). Dr. Ghanayem joined Loyola Medical Group in 1995 and is chair of Loyola Medicine's department of orthopedic surgery and rehabilitation. He was named chief medical officer of Loyola Medical.

Scott Rushton, MD. Lankenau Medical Center (Wynnewood, Pa.). Dr. Rushton has been in clinical practice since 1999 and joined Lankenau in 2004. From 2000-12, he led the spinal reconstructive fellowship at 3B Orthopedics at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia.

Sanjitpal "Sonny" Gill, MD. Medical Group of the Carolinas (Greer, S.C.). Dr. Gill is a minimally invasive spine specialist and has provided care for the U.S. Olympic ski team for 15 years. He's also involved with the medical care for the Ironman Triathlon World Championships in Kona, Hawaii.

Ian Madom, MD. Ortho Rhode Island (Warwick). Dr. Madom co-founded Mocingbird, a cloud-based SaaS CME management platform for healthcare organizations. He was named CEO of the company in February.

Erion Qamirani, MD, PhD. Mid-Tennessee Bone & Joint Clinic (Columbia). Dr. Qamirani earned his medical degree at McMurry University in Abilene, Texas, and completed his residency at University of Toronto in Ontario, Canada. He is one of the first surgeons at Columbia-based Maury Regional Medical Center trained to use the 7D Flash navigation system for spine surgery.

Steven Vanni, DO. HCA Florida University Hospital (Davie). Dr. Vanni has practiced medicine for more than 26 years. He was named chief of medical staff at the hospital.

Corey Wallach, MD. Anderson Orthopaedic Clinic (Arlington, Va.). Dr. Wallach oversees spine care at the Anderson Orthopaedic Clinic and is also medical director for the Inova Spine Institute in Alexandria, Va. He earned his medical degree at the University of California Davis and completed his residency at Pittsburgh-based UPMC.

Eric Wieser, MD. Arlington (Texas) Orthopedic Associates. Dr. Wieser joined Arlington Orthopedic Associates in 2004. He founded the Texas Comprehensive Spine Center in Arlington and currently serves as medical director.

Jon Yoon, MD. Pennsylvania Hospital (Philadelphia). Dr. Yoon treats spine conditions in adult and elderly patients. He operated on Philadelphia Flyers center Sean Couturier in February.
