Carson City, Nev.-based Carson Tahoe Health has partnered with Sina Rajamand, DO, of Battle Born Brain and Spine.
Dr. Rajamand will provide neurosurgical care at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center in Carson City, according to an Aug. 23 news release. He received his medical degree from Midwestern University's Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in Glendale and completed his residency at St. John Providence in Warren, Mich.
"Neurosurgery is a service we have been looking at expanding for years," Allen Fink, DO, Carson Tahoe vice president and chief medical officer said. "Our new affiliation with Dr. Rajamand allows us to provide more complex brain and spine surgeries at our hospital, so we don’t have to transfer patients far away from home."
Dr. Rajamand opened Battle Born Brain and Spine in Carson City in early August.
