John Golfinos, MD, will lead a research project at New York City-based NYU Grossman School of Medicine on imaging and navigation for spine and neurosurgery.

Richard Chua, MD, spoke with Becker's Spine Review about the state of robotics in spine surgery and his outlook for the year.

Neurosurgeon Hilarie Tomasiewicz, MD, PhD, was named the first site chief of neurosurgery at Mount Sinai Queens in New York City. She will be tasked with building a neurosurgical program focused on spine surgery.
