Munster, Ind.-based Community Healthcare System recently onboarded spine surgeon Venkat Kavuri, MD, according to The Times of Northwest Indiana.
Three things to know:
1. Dr. Kavuri graduated from Drexel University College of Medicine and completed his residency at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia.
2. He is seeing patients at St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart, Ind.
3. The health system's hiring spree also includes Michael Knesek, MD, a sports medicine and shoulder surgery specialist.
