Here are five spine and neurosurgeons who joined new organizations, moved locations or retired in May:

Providence, R.I.-based University Orthopedics welcomed Alan Daniels, MD, as chief of its spine surgery division.

Fred McQueary, MD, executive vice president and chief clinical officer at Chesterfield, Mo.-based Mercy, is taking an early retirement to help the system address financial losses caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Peter Costantino, MD, joined White Plains-based Brain and Spine Surgeons of New York.

Baptist Health Neuroscience Center-Fort Smith (Ark.) recruited Arthur Johnson, MD.

Peter Rasmussen, MD, was appointed to the advisory board of Centerline Biomedical.
