7 spine, neurosurgeons on the move in March

Here are seven spine and neurosurgeons who joined new organizations, moved locations or received promotions in March:

Daniel Yoshor, MD, was appointed chair of the department of neurosurgery in the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, effective July 1.

Lakeshore Orthopaedics in Manitowoc, Wis., onboarded Richard Manos, MD.

Frank Schwab, MD, was appointed vice chair of the New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery Innovation Institute.

Miami-based Baptist Health South Florida hired Michael McDermott, MD, as CMO of Miami Neuroscience Institute.

Brain and Spine Surgeons of New York in Harrison appointed Virany Hillard, MD, as medical director.

The Minimally Invasive Brain and Spine Center at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore hired neurosurgeon Joshua Lim, MD.

Neurosurgeon Brian Farrell, MD, is providing care at a new practice in Murray, Ky.
