Dr. Howard Colman named 2019 Jon M. Huntsman Presidential Chair

Howard Colman, MD, PhD, professor of neurosurgery at University of Utah in Salt Lake City was named one of the 2019 Jon M. Huntsman Presidential Chairs, reports KSL.

Twelve chairs in various specialties were made possible by a $22.5 million gift from the Huntsman family.

Dr. Colman will receive funding to enhance knowledge and advance care in his field of neurosurgery.

He earned his medical degree at Washington University Medical Center in Saint Louis. Dr. Colman completed a residency in neurology at Barnes Jewish Hospital in Saint Louis and a fellowship in neuro-oncology at MD Anderson Cancer & Tumor Institute in Houston.
