6 spine, neurosurgeon moves in April

Over the past month, six spine and neurosurgeons joined new practices or were promoted to new leadership roles within their organization.

Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis named Gregory J. Zipfel, MD, head of the department of neurosurgery.

Thousand Oaks-based California Institute of Neuroscience welcomed Ha Son Nguyen, MD, a neurosurgeon.

Morgan Lorio, MD, joined Advanced Orthopedics, a practice that serves south and central Florida.

Neurosurgeon Mark White, MD, joined Columbus-based OrthoNeuro.

Amit Goyal, MD, joined Bayhealth Neurosurgery in Dover, Del.

Former Tampa, Fla.-based Laser Spine Institute surgeon Reginald Davis, MD, joined BioSpine Institute in Tampa.
