Portland-based MaineHealth welcomed Lauren Del Prato, DO, to its Maine Medical Partners Neurosurgery and Spine clinic in Scarborough, according to the Portland Press Herald.

1. Dr. Del Prato has expertise in physical medicine and rehabilitation of acute and chronic spine conditions.
2. She also specializes in back and neck pain treatment, including interventional procedures, functional rehabilitation and non-opioid medication.

After earning her doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, Maine, Dr. Del Prato completed her residency at New York City-based SUNY Upstate Medical University. She then underwent pain medicine fellowship training at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H.
