Kola Jegede, MD, is the new director of quality and safety for spine services at New York City-based NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn.

Due to court scheduling conflicts, the bankruptcy fraud sentencing of Cathleen Van Buskirk, MD, has been pushed back to 2019.

Former Rockford, Ill.-based OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center CEO David Schertz testified that the hospital drafted a plan to handle the media's questions about Denice Crute, MD, who was hired after allowing her license to go inactive.
