Maria Peris-Celda, MD, joined Albany (N.Y.) Meds' neurosurgery department.
Dr. Peris-Celda was also appointed assistant professor at Albany Medical College. She will work among other neurosurgeons, radiation oncologists as well as head and neck surgeons to provide minimally invasive and endoscopic treatment.
After earning her medical degree from the University of Valencia in Spine, Dr. Peris-Celda completed her neurosurgery residency at Albany Medical Center. She underwent fellowship training at Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic.
