Here are five spine and neurosurgeons making headlines.

Tarek Elalayli, MD, was the first surgeon to perform a spinal fusion using Amedica's Valeo C+CSC with Lumen Interbody Fusion Device.

Joseph DeWitt, DO, used 3D-printed technology to create a replica of a patient's spine before surgery at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, Mich.

Stelios Koutsoumbelis, MD, was among the surgeons who completed the first cases using Centinel Spine's FLX Platform of 3D-printed titanium interbody devices.

Zachary Lovato, DO, joined El Paso (Texas) Specialty Hospital.
