Mayfield Brain & Spine surgeon joins The Jewish Hospital: 5 points

Cincinnati-based The Jewish Hospital welcomed neurosurgeon Yair Gozal, MD, PhD, to its brain tumor cancer team.

Here are five points:

1. Dr. Gozal is a surgeon at Cincinnati-based Mayfield Brain & Spine.

2. He specializes in pituitary tumors, cerebral aneurysms, complex cranial surgery and minimally invasive spine surgery.

3. Dr. Gozal is among the experts in Gama Knife radiosurgery.

4. Board-eligible in neurosurgery, Dr. Gozal is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Congress of Neurological Surgeons and North American Skull Base Society.

5. The Jewish Hospital's Brain Tumor Center includes fellowship-trained neurosurgeons and ENT surgeons. The center features a nationally recognized bone marrow transplant program.
