Michigan neurosurgeon gets his 15 minutes of fame: 3 takeaways

Troy, Mich.-based Jagannath Neurosurgical Institute neurosurgeon Jay Jagannathan, MD, will be featured on a 9&10 News segment, "the four."

Here are three takeaways:

1. Every week through Dec. 10, Dr. Jagannathan will discuss various healthcare topics, from sports medicine to spinal injuries.

2. In the first segment, Aug. 20, the neurosurgeon will tackle common causes of neck pain and how to best treat them. He will later focus on the state's new narcotic lows.

3. Dr. Jagannathan owns and operates four clinics throughout the state. He specializes in minimally invasive techniques for cranial and spinal surgery.
