1. Dr. Pappu is a board-certified neurosurgeon who specializes in neck and back conditions, hydrocephalus and trauma.
2. She sees patients at the Loyola Outpatient Center in Maywood and at Edward Hines (Ill.) Jr. Veterans Administration Hospital, where she also has a clinical appointment.
3. Dr. Pappu is an associate neurosurgery professor at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine.
4. She holds a doctorate in operations research from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge. Her research involves quantitative methods to evaluate hydrocephalus and radiomics, an emerging field of big data research.
