Here are 11 spine surgeons and neurosurgeons that joined new organizations, moved locations or received promotions in February 2018.

Redding, Calif.-based Shasta Orthopaedics welcomed neurosurgeon Kimberly Page, MD. North Valley Neurosurgery, Dr. Page's private practice, merged with Shasta Orthopaedics Feb. 1.

 

Mark Dekutoski, MD, joined the Marshfield Clinic Eau Claire (Wis.) Center's orthopedic surgery department. He specializes in adult and pediatric minimally invasive spine deformity, including scoliosis, kyphosis, spine tumors, spondylolisthesis and disc degeneration.

 

Jeffrey Beecher, DO, joined Wilmington, N.C.-based Atlantic Neurosurgical & Spine Specialists. With Dr. Beecher, Atlantic Neurosurgical & Spine Specialists can offer patients who suffer strokes, aneurysms, brain tumors and other blood vessel abnormalities treatment options.

 

Milford (Mass.) Regional Medical Center welcomed three neurosurgeons Timothy Smith, MD, PhD, Hasan Zaidi, MD, and Omar Arnaout, MD, to its staff. The neurosurgeons joined Milford Regional Medical Center after opening the Brigham and Women's Neurosurgery of Milford (Mass.).

 

James Harris, MD, senior member of Western Surgical Group, and Lori Rawson, MD, chief of surgery at VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System, will co-chair the new orthopedic surgery and neurosurgery department at University of Nevada Reno School of Medicine.

 

Mercy Hospital in Portland, Maine, welcomed Nicolas Arredondo, MD, to its staff at Maine Spine Surgery. Dr. Arredondo's interests include traumatic, metastatic and degenerative spine pathology.

 

Grand Junction, Colo.-based Community Hospital is welcoming two surgeons to open a new orthopedic spine surgery program. Kirk Clifford, MD, and James Gebhard, MD, are joining the hospital to jumpstart an orthopedic spine surgery service line.
