Serge Rasskazoff, MD, will resign from Watertown, N.Y.-based Samaritan Medical Center in February 2018, Watertown Daily Times reports.

2. He joined the hospital staff in April and is leaving for another opportunity.
3. A Samaritan Medical Center spokesperson said they planned to hire neurosurgeon Michelle Bahn, MD, at the beginning of 2018, but she chose to pursue other offers.
4. The medical center reinvigorated its neurosurgery offering in 2013, investing $1 million-plus in neurosurgery equipment.
5. Dr. Rasskazoff completed his neurosurgery residency at University of Manitoba in Canada.
