Essentia Health-Duluth (Minn.) Clinic added Anne Normand, MD, to its spine team, according to the Duluth News Tribune.
Here are four notes:
1. Dr. Normand underwent fellowship training at the University of Texas in Houston. She is also board certified in orthopedic surgery.
2. Dr. Normand joined Essentia Health as an oncology surgeon, specializing in benign and malignant bone and soft tissue tumors.
3. After earning her medical degree from George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C., Dr. Normand completed her residency at Boston Medical Center.
4. Essentia Health-Duluth Clinic is one of the 15 hospitals, 75 clinics, six long-term care facilities, three assisted living facilities, three independent living facilities, five ambulance services and one research institute that makes up Essentia Health.
