Providence, R.I.-based Lifespan's Comprehensive Spine Center welcomed neurosurgeon Jared Fridley, MD, according to Lifespan.

1. The Comprehensive Spine Center is located at Providence-based Rhode Island Hospital and Newport (R.I.) Hospital.
2. Dr. Fridley specializes in complex spine surgery, degenerative spine disease, spinal trauma, tumors and peripheral nerve surgery.
3. He researches spine surgery outcomes and spinal cord injury.
4. He is an assistant professor and the director of the spine surgery outcomes laboratory at Providence-based The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.
5. Dr. Fridley completed his neurosurgery fellowship at Providence-based Rhode Island Hospital.
