Los Angeles Business Journal named Todd H. Lanman, MD, a finalist for its 2017 Healthcare Leadership Awards.

Here are five highlights:


1. The program recognizes elite medical practitioners and organizations delivering high-quality care that creates the industry standards.

2. Dr. Lanman has demonstrated excellence in innovation, serving as the principal investigator of the Prestige LP clinical trial, which resulted in the device's FDA approval.


3. The author of more than 12 peer-reviewed articles, Dr. Lanman has presented more than 24 papers at medical society meetings.


4. Dr. Lanman founded Lanman Spinal Neurosurgery in Beverly Hills, Calif., and serves as an assistant clinical professor at UCLA in Los Angeles.


5. Cedars-Sinai Medical Center's Institute for Spinal Disorders, UCLA Medical Center and Saint John's Medical Center affiliate with Lanman Spinal Neurosurgery.
