Nicholas Grimaldi, DO, earned recognition as a 2017 Top Doctor.

1. The Top Doctor Awards honor physicians who have demonstrated "clinical excellence while delivering the highest standards of patient care."
2. Dr. Grimaldi practices at East Tennessee Spine and Orthopaedic Specialists in Morristown, and is affiliated with Morristown-based Lakeway Regional Hospital, Jefferson City, Tenn.-based Tennova Jefferson Memorial Hospital and Knoxville, Tenn.-based Physician's Regional Medical Center.
3. Over his 15-year career, Dr. Grimaldi has become an expert in minimally invasive spine surgery, carpal tunnel release and minimally invasive hip and knee replacement.
4. A member of American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Dr. Grimaldi is also affiliated with North American Spine Society and American Osteopathic Association.
5. Dr. Grimaldi completed his fellowship at the Scoliosis and Spine Center of Maryland in Towson.
