Here are five spine surgeons and neurosurgeons who recently received awards or promotions.

The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons appointed Kern Singh, MD, spine program committee chair for the society's 2017 through 2020 annual meetings. Dr. Singh is the co-director of the Minimally Invasive Spine Institute at Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush in Chicago.


Hyun Bae, MD, of The Spine Institute, Center for Spinal Restoration in Santa Monica, earned recognition as a 2016 Top Doctor in Santa Monica, Calif.


The Expert Network inducted board-certified orthopedic surgeon Randall F. Dryer, MD, of Central Texas Spine Institute in Austin.


Donald R. Gore, MD, joined the ranks of The International Association of HealthCare Professionals.


The International Association of HealthCare Professionals added Richard Morales Ozuna, MD, of Sports Medicine North in Peabody, Mass., to its ranks.
