1. There are fewer than 500 active Scoliosis Research Society members in the United States; there are only 29 active members in Illinois.
2. The four-day Scoliosis Research Society Annual Meeting & Course brings together more than 1,400 attendees from around the world each year.
3. The annual meeting hosts presentations on a range of spinal deformities, including adolescent idiopathic scoliosis, growing spine, kyphosis, adult deformity, trauma, neuromuscular scoliosis and tumors.
