Here are four spine surgeons and neurosurgeons who were in the news this past week.

Neurosurgeon Robert Nugent, MD, passed away in his home on Oct. 31, 2016. He performed more than 1,600 procedures through his career. He was 95 years old.

 

John Styliaras, MD, will now see patients at Gateway Family Health Clinics in Moose Lake and Sandstone, both in Minnesota.

 

Jason E. Lowenstein, MD, has been honored as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor in 2016.

 

North American Spine Society named F. Todd Wetzel, MD, president at their annual meeting in Boston.
