Timothy T. Roberts, MD, joined Coastal Orthopedics Sports Medicine & Pain Management in Bradenton, Fla.
Here are five highlights:
1. Dr. Roberts treats cervical and lumbar degenerative spine conditions, athletic spinal injuries, adult and pediatric spinal deformities and spine trauma.
2. He performs motion-preserving surgery and minimally invasive spine surgery, among other procedures.
3. Author of more than 30 peer-reviewed papers on spine and orthopedic surgery, Dr. Roberts also co-authored, edited and published the textbook, "Case Files: Orthopaedic Surgery."
4. He is working with the Cleveland Clinic on an epidural cervical injections study. Dr. Roberts is also looking into the spine surgeon habits via a survey of surgeons across the country.
5. Dr. Roberts completed his combined neurosurgical and orthopedic spine surgery fellowship at Cleveland Clinic.
