Pain management physician Whitney L. Chouteau, DO, joined Medical & Surgical Clinic of Irving (Texas).

1. Dr. Chouteau's clinical interests include nerve blocks throughout the body, lumbar discography, carpal tunnel injections and narcotic management.
2. Dr. Chouteau is a member of the American Pain Society, International Spinal Injection Society, American Association of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine, Association of Academic Physiatrists, American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the Dallas/Fort Worth Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Society.
3. Dr. Chouteau earned her medical degree from the Kansas City (Mo.) University of Medicine and Biosciences and completed both her residency and fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas.
