Dr. Sunny Kim to perform spine surgery at University of Minnesota Medical: 5 points

Minneapolis-based University of Minnesota Medical Center granted Sunny Kim, MD, privileges to perform complex spine surgery, according to Voice of Alexandria.

Here are five points:


1. Dr. Kim is board certified in orthopedic spine surgery.


2. He has treated more than 15,000 patients during his career.


3. He specializes in spinal deformity cases involving vertebral column resections and pedicle subtraction osteotomies.


4. Dr. Kim provides services at Alexandra, Minn.-based Tristate Brain & Spine Institute.


5. He completed a spine surgery fellowship at Minneapolis-based Minnesota Spine Center.
