Gateway Medical Center, in Clarksville, Tenn., revealed its neuro-suite, which uses advanced minimally invasive spine and cranial surgical technologies, according to The Leaf-Chronicle.
Here are five observations:
1. Robert Bejnarowicz, DO, leads the neuro-suite, which is a medical specialty initiative of Gateway Medical.
2. The neuro-suite offers an intraoperative navigation system, minimally invasive tools and an intraoperative CT scanner.
3. Dr. Bejnarowicz praises the navigation system for its ability to decrease incisions and reduce blood loss. The navigation also helps reduce errors and recovery time.
4. Performing complex spine surgery and minimally invasive spine surgery, Dr. Bejnarowicz specializes in spine and brain trauma, brain tumors, intraoperative imaging and intraoperative neuro-navigation.
5. After receiving his degree from Midwestern University and Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Bejnarowicz completed post-graduate training at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
