Here are 10 spine surgeons and neurosurgeons who joined new practices or received promotions in the past month.

St. Bernard Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark., welcomed Khaled M. Krisht, MD.

 

Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit named Sandeep Mittal, MD, chairman of the neurosurgery department.

 

Orthopedic spine surgeon Kendall Carll, MD, joined North American Spine in the Plano, Texas, location. He'll treat patients at Plano Surgical Hospital.

 

Laser Spine Institute named neurosurgeon Reginald J. Davis, MD, director of clinical research, a newly-created role.

 

Orthopedic surgeon Mark Freeborn, MD, and his practice joined EvergreenHealth in Kirkland, Wash. The practice is now called EvergreenHealth Spine & Neurosurgery Care.

 

Orthopedic spine surgeon James Cole, MD, joined Johnson Physician Network and will see patients in Franklin, Ind.

 

Simi Valley (Calif.) Hospital designed a new program for cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine, scoliosis and deformity surgery and welcomed orthopedic spine surgeon Alen Ardalan Nourian, MD, to the staff.

 

Tuan Bui, MD, a spine surgeon focused on adult degenerative cervical and lumbar spinal conditions, traumatic spinal injuries, motion preservation technology and minimally invasive spine surgery, joined OrthoAtlanta.

 

Minimally invasive spine surgeon Dale T. Landry Jr., MD, joined Orthopaedic Associates in Fort Walton Beach, Fla.

 

Vagmin Vora, MD, joined The Center for Spinal Disorders in New York and New Jersey after completing fellowships at the Cincinnati Children's Hospital and Medical Center in Ohio and Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City.
