Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis appointed Munish Gupta, MD, chief of spine surgery, a position he'll assume on Sept. 1. Dr. Gupta is currently the vice chair of the department of orthopedic surgery and chief of orthopedic spine surgery and co-director of the spine center at the University of California, Davis.

He currently serves as the vice chairman of the department of orthopedic surgery at Medical College of Wisconsin.
