Dr. Jonathan Hyde joins Doctors Mobile Healthcare: 4 takeaways

Doctors Mobile Healthcare added Jonathan Hyde, MD, to its medical advisory board.

Here are four things to know about Dr. Hyde and Doctors Mobile Healthcare:

 

1. Dr. Hyde is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon providing care at the South Florida Spine Institute in Miami Beach, Fla. He is a clinical assistant professor of orthopedics at Florida International University in Miami.

 

2. Dr. Hyde was one of the three designers for the dbrII minimally invasive pedicle screw system, which was approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. He is currently a member of the executive board of the Society of Lateral Access Surgeons as well as serving on the medical advisory board of SI Bone.

 

3. Dr. Hyde completed a fellowship in spinal surgery at Plano-based Texas Back Institute. He was also selected to represent the Texas Back Institute in a five-month traveling fellowship at the University of Nottingham in England at the Centre for Spinal Surgery.

 

4. Doctors Mobile Healthcare International, through its subsidiaries, Touch Medical Solutions and Virtual Physician's Network, is a medical software and business applications company focusing on picture archiving and communications systems, electronic medical records and personal health records.
