Dr. Alvin Crawford receives Morehouse College's "Candle in the Dark" award

Atlanta-based Morehouse College recently honored Alvin Crawford, MD, with its  "Candle in the Dark" award, according to a HCP Live report.

Dr. Crawford is a pediatric spine surgeon, and founding director of the Crawford Spine Center at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. He is also the former director of orthopedics at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center and in 2004 was honored with the dedication of the Crawford Chair in Pediatric Orthopedics.

 

The "Candle in the Dark" award is presented annually to an individual who has distinguished him or herself in service, achievement, leadership, medicine, business and entertainment, according to the report.
