Mark Fye, MD, of Steubenville, Ohio-based Trinity Health System, performed the region's first cervical spinal disc replacement, according to a report by The Herald-Star.
Dr. Fye is board-certified in orthopedic surgery and focuses on spinal fractures, spinal stenosis and herniated discs.
Dr. Fye performed the disc replacement procedure on Larry Buchanan, a resident of Steubenville, according to the report.
