Nizam Razack, MD, will be one of the first surgeons in Florida to perform spine procedures with the Renaissance system.
Renaissance is a next generation surgical guidance system for spine procedures. The system was purchased by Celebration (Fla.) Health Hospital, part of Adventist Health System, from Mazor Robotics, a provider of surgical robots and complementary products.
Dr. Razack is a neurosurgeon. He received his medical degree at the State University of New York at Buffalo. He completed three post-doctoral fellowships: reconstructive and complex spine surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn.; neurosurgical oncology at the M.D. Anderson Cancer in Houston; and orthopedic spine deformities at the Rancho Los Amigos Medical Center in Los Angeles.
