Indiana Spine Group adds 3 surgeons

Carmel-based Indiana Spine Group added three physicians to its practice, according to an Aug. 14 news release.

They are spine surgeons Daniel Robinson, MD, Peter Swiatek, MD, and neurosurgeon Shah Ahmad, MD. They will work across the practice’s Indiana locations in Muncie, Anderson, Carmel, Shelbyville, Richmond, Westfield and Indianapolis.

Dr. Ahmad’s expertise is in degenerative spine disease, deformity surgery and spinal cord tumors, according to the practice’s website. Dr. Robinson specializes in minimally invasive spine surgery and complex revision surgery, while Dr. Swiatek specializes in revising failed spine surgeries, disc herniation and lumbar spine disease.
