The sale will help IMAC Holdings return to a focus on nonsurgical medical care, CEO Jeff Ervin said in a March 1 news release. IMAC Holdings also said its COO, Dr. Ben Lerner will resign, and his position won’t be replaced.
The handoff comes less than a year after The BackSpace completed a pilot at Walmart locations in April 2022. By the third quarter of 2022, visits to The BackSpace leaped 1,818 percent year-over-year and 28 percent for the sequential quarter.
