Illinois Bone & Joint Institute welcomes Dr. Eric Belin: 3 notes

Eric Belin, MD, a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, joined Chicago-based Illinois Bone & Joint Institute, according to The Chicago Tribune.

Here are three notes:

 

1. Dr. Belin specializes in adult and pediatric spine surgery, with an emphasis on scoliosis, kyphosis and tumors, among other areas.

 

2. He previously taught at Medical University of South Carolina College of Medicine in Charleston.

 

3. After earning his medical degree from Medical University of South Carolina College of Medicine, Dr. Belin completed a pediatric spine fellowship at Shriners Hospital for Children in Philadelphia. Dr. Belin also completed an adult spine fellowship at University of Maryland in College Park.
