Illinois Bone and Joint Institute adds spine surgeon

Des Plaines-based Illinois Bone and Joint Institute added spine surgeon Christopher Bergin, MD, according to a Jan. 4 announcement in the Daily Herald.

Dr. Bergin was trained as an orthopedic surgeon but specializes in complex spinal conditions. He has been in practice since 1999.

Dr. Bergen earned his medical degree and completed his residency at Chicago-based University of Illinois College of Medicine. He completed a spine fellowship at Rush-Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago, according to the announcement.
