Advanced Pain Management named Donald Harvey, MD, as the new chief medical officer, according to sheboyganpress.com.

1. Dr. Harvey previously served APM Sheboygan clinic’s medical director for 10 years.

 

2. As chief medical officer, he will oversee the medical directors across APM’s 60-facility network.

 

3. Dr. Harvey will be responsible for identifying and defining new strategies to achieve APM’s business as well as healthcare goals. Additionally, he will partake in senior management decisions pertaining to medical and business development opportunities.

 

4. Dr. Harvey previously was an anesthesiologist at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan, Wis.

 

5. He served as a medic in the U.S. Army, which inspired Dr. Harvey to pursue a medicine career.
