Dr. Mir utilizes a conservative, minimally invasive approach when treating spinal conditions. His goal is to restore movement to patients without pain, which can typically be achieved through non-surgical techniques including therapy, medication or spinal injections.
He earned his medical degree from State University of New York Health Science Center’s School of Medicine in New York City. After obtaining his medical degree, Dr. Mir completed his residency at Chicago-based University of Illinois. Dr. Mir underwent his complex spine surgery fellowship at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
His professional memberships include North American Spine Society, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Scoliosis Research Society and California Orthopaedic Association.
