Dr. Björn Zoëga is new CEO of Stockholm Spine Center — 3 highlights

Björn Zoëga, MD, a spine surgeon and accomplished leader in the field of healthcare, will be assuming the position of CEO of GHP Stockholm Spine Center.

1. Dr. Zoëga will be assuming the position on March 7, 2016.

 

2. He completed his residency and worked as a spine surgeon and clinical chief at the Sahlgrenska University Hospital. He has also been the CEO of Landspitali University Hospital in Reykjavik which earned him the “CEO of the Year” award in Iceland. Dr. Zoëga also holds positions as chairman of the board of Iceland’s healthcare payer and of the scientific board of the pharmaceutical company Alvotech.
