Danbury Hospital relocates, expands Center for Advanced Orthopedic and Spine Care: 5 highlights

Danbury (Conn.) Hospital improved its joint and spine center, Center for Advanced Orthopedic and Spine Care, according toWestfair Communications.

Here are five highlights:

 

1. The new 11-story facility is 316,000 square feet.

 

2. Peter Buck, co-founder of Subway and a Danbury resident, made a $30 million donation to the facility.

 

3. The joint and spine center recently moved locations in mid-January.

 

4. The 35 rooms were nearly doubled and each room is equipped with a private shower as well as a pullout couch, large flat-screen TV and panoramic views of Danbury.

 

5. The expanded space allows medical personnel to better serve patients.
