- Age
- Functional status
- Surgical approach
- Utilization of osteotomies
- Steroid Use
- Obesity
- Operation time
3. HACs provide an incentive for hospitals and ASCs to improve patient safety. They are subject to a nonpayment policy by CMS.
4. HACs make postoperative morbidity and mortality rates in the ASD population more severe.
