Happiness at work (1=poor, 7=excellent):
Burnout — 3.6
No burnout — 5.4

Happiness outside of work:
Burnout — 5.3
No burnout — 5.8

Burnout rate by age:
35 or under — 6 percent
36 to 45 — 18 percent
46 to 55 — 29 percent
56 to 65 — 31 percent
Over 65 — 15 percent

Burnout by gender:
Men — 39 percent
Women — 47 percent
