Houston Spine & Rehabilitation Centers physicians launche campaign to prevent ‘text neck’: 3 quick points

Mark Yezak, DC, of Houston Spine & Rehabilitation Centers has launched a campaign to help raise awareness of the growing epidemic of ‘text neck,’ according to a report by The Paper.

Here are three quick points:

 

1. The “Care for Your Stare” campaign aims to prevent ‘text neck,’ which refers to neck pain that accompanies spending too much time on devices that require you to look down constantly.

 

2. Dr. Yezak has a number of suggestions for preventing ‘text neck,’ including downloading a dictation app and setting a timer to ensure you take a break from texting.

 

3. Dr. Yezak established Houston Spine & Rehabilitation Centers in 1996, where both surgical and nonsurgical services are offered.
