Dr. Albert is currently the chairman of the department of orthopedics and president of The Rothman Institute at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. He is also the Richard H. Rothman Professor and chairman of orthopedics at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. He completed his residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and fellowship training in spine surgery at Minnesota Spine Center in Minneapolis.
Dr. Albert will succeed Thomas P. Sculco, M.D., who has served as surgeon-in-chief since 2003.
