Dr. O’Leary has focused on evolving spine procedure techniques in his 35 years as a spine surgeon and specializes in surgical management of disorders of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine, including revision surgery. He established a biomechanics fellowship at Hospital for Special Surgery in 1991 and is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, International College of Surgeons and American College of Surgeons.
Hospital for Special Surgery presented the achievement award to Dr. O’Leary at a tribute dinner Monday.
