Golisano Children’s Hospital Adopts EOS Imaging Machine for Pediatric Spine Patients

Golisano Children’s Hospital at the University of Rochester (N.Y.) Medical Center has purchased the EOS machine for imaging of pediatric patients with spine conditions such as scoliosis.

The department of imaging sciences and the department of orthopedics saw the need for the EOS machine as it drastically reduces radiation exposure for patients while producing more precise images. It also produces images that are actual size without any distortion.
