1. This will be the first partnership between Sierra Regional Spine and Education Alliance, the nonprofit organizing the run.
2. Since its creation, Sierra Regional Spine has been committed to education programs like this run.
3. The spine practice has supported initiatives that train new physicians and several of its spine surgeons serve in clinical instructor positions at the University of Nevada Reno.
4. Sierra Regional Spine Institute offers spinal treatments and surgery.
“We thought we would continue our support of education by sponsoring the Run for Education…We encourage exercise in all our patients and believe physical education should start at the earliest age possible,” said Penny Forbes, practice administrator, Sierra Regional Spine Institute.
