Geisinger Health System Adds New Neurosurgery Residency

Danville, Pa.-based Geisinger Health System announced it has added a new neurosurgery residency program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education.

The seven-year program welcomed its first trainee on July 1, and will initially accept one trainee per year. Training will take place at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville and Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center in Wilkes-Barre, Pa.
